To celebrate Halloween we’ll have some fang-tastic special treats in store, from a ghostly trail to our indoor Craft Mine to get up close and personal with some creepy crawlies, beastly bugs and reptiles. Our creepy crawly and reptile expert will be on hand to answer any questions and let you handle them, and if you dare put your hand in a critter Fright Box!

Take advantage of the daily ranger talks to learn about your favourite species and discover a world lost in time in the Animals Of The Ice Age. Let the children run wild in the play areas and either take a picnic to enjoy in many of our picnic areas or enjoy some family favourite dishes from our cafes. Our catering huts will be serving up seasonal autumn warmers such as pumpkin lattes, hot chocolates, bug-licious halloween themed treats and winter warmers!

If you want to make your day extra special, book in for a close encounter with your favourite animal. Visitors can choose unforgettable experiences including feeding the elephants, going behind the scenes with the gorillas, meeting black rhinos, feeding wolves, leopards and tigers, scattering snacks for red river hogs or even hand-feeding anteaters, prices starting at just £15.

Bring your little monsters to meet ours for a treat filled day of fun at Howletts!
