Updown launch Spring Guest Chef Series

This Spring, Ruth Leigh and Oli Brown of Updown Farmhouse, the idyllic hotel and restaurant near Deal, Kent, will be welcoming some of the UK’s favourite chefs into the kitchen for the return of their guest chef series.

To kick off the series, on Friday 28th February, Shuko Oda of Koya, the much-loved Japanese udon bar, will join Oli in the kitchen, to create a special one-off menu spotlighting Shuko’s authentic Japanese culinary techniques and flavours. Diners can expect dishes such as grilled skate in sake kasuclam dashi and hojicha jelly served with black beans and cream

The series will continue on throughout the season, with the likes of Jeremy Lee of Quo Vadis in March, Dom Fernando of Soho’s Paradise in April and Rose Chalalai Singh of KOYN Thai in May. Each chef will work closely with Oli to create an inspired menu showcasing each chef’s individuality, creativity  and expertise.

Tickets are £65pp and can be purchased here
