ree

Performances across 3 Historical Settings

The Festival Theatre is gearing up for its longest season yet, featuring a vibrant and diverse program designed to captivate audiences of all ages. This year’s lineup includes opera, drama, jazz, live music, inspiring speakers, dance, beloved family favourites, and top tribute acts.

Performances will be held in the breathtaking theatre, which opened last year within the grounds of Hever Castle. Additionally, audiences can enjoy Shakespeare, and more, in the charming setting of Chiddingstone Castle. For the first time, The Festival Theatre is also presenting Glow Fest (Saturday, 28 June), a unique promenade performance experience set within the enchanting Elizabethan gardens of Penshurst Place. Together, these three iconic locations offer a magical journey through England’s past, blending stunning architecture with picturesque landscapes.

The season kicks off in April with The ABBA Reunion Tribute Show (Saturday, 12 April) where the greatest hits will be performed with unrivalled authenticity. For younger theatre-goers ShoeBaby (Tuesday, 15 April) is a delightful magical puppet show based on Joyce Dunbar’s bestselling book. This sing-a-long adventure follows a baby who takes to the sea, the air, the zoo all in a shoe! History lovers won’t want to miss That Knave, Raleigh (Wednesday, 16 April), an enthralling exploration of the extraordinary highs and lows of Sir Walter Raleigh’s life, performed by the acclaimed Dyad Productions—first-time visitors to the festival.

Spring continues with an array of fantastic performances, including Motown & More, Charles Court Opera, Dad’s Army Radio Show, The Wind in the Willows an electrifying Silent Disco and many more festival favourites. The excitement builds throughout the season, culminating in a spectacular grand finale with Paul Young and Los Pacaminos on (Friday, 17 October).

Tickets are on sale now at heverfestival.co.uk or via the Box Office at 07379 488477. Don’t miss
